As a both a competitive and synchronized swimmer, Jeanne not only keeps fit through the sport, but finds it a great source of enjoyment as well. Everything Jeanne does epitomizes her belief that when you have fun and challenge yourself mentally and physically on a consistent basis, you get more out of life. Throughout the years, she’s been inspired and motivated by subjects and activities that required precise skill and knowledge. In college, she was a competitive swimmer who coached the local swim team while pursuing a difficult yet satisfying curriculum in science. After earning her degree, she taught chemistry for a short time.

Jeanne’s love for challenges persevered during her 25 years as a head chemist for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company. She was called upon for her problem-solving aptitude and enthusiasm for innovation in medicine. Jeanne headed teams that developed many of today’s well-known medications. She enjoyed the work immensely because it was filled with variety and required attention to detail, much like her career today.

Jeanne stays active in mind and body through her love for photography, scuba, solving puzzles, and important volunteer work with organizations such as Homes for Heroes and Habitat for Humanity. She also swims competitively in the local Senior Games, participates in the annual follies and is a contributing member of her church. But her favorite way to spend her day is with her elderly mother and many grandchildren. They keep her on the go and young at heart!
